Blogosphere Magazine Feature

After having the pleasure of performing at Blogosphere magazine’s March issue, featuring Dina Tokio in London -which was an amazing experience- Blogosphere kindly featured me on their new issue’s “Events Section”.

I’ve been lucky to meet the Blogosphere Magazine’s amazing team who gave me the chance to perform at their cover reveal party and who most importantly introduced me to the inspirational and kind Dina Tokio whom I am really grateful for, for the love and support she’s given me since meeting her.

I can’t express enough my gratitude and appreciation to the work and love that people as such put into the world to help, support and push others to achieve their goals. Thank You.

Stay awesome.

“I’m Sorry”

After hearing about the terrible news in Manchester, and the death of the eight year old child at the concert, I was triggered and reminded of the tragedies and deaths that have been going on for that last few years all over the world. I’ve written this song as a demo, no production, no mastering, just a song for once.
I am pained for my generation, for the paradise that is being ruined by the minorities that are destroying the children of the future.
I Am Pained. And I Am Sorry for what we are going through.
To The Ones Lost, This is for YOU.

El Sam.

Lyrics:
Bones are hurting and they’ll never be alright,
Coz we both know that it burn and burns the time,
Eight years, innocent, waving bye,
But the God, my God he knows it all, I’m fine.

We’re all behind on everyone,
The night and day, and oh we run,
It makes for nothing till we become One Name

I just want to run, run anywhere
Away from here,
Don’t want to lose it all, taking it and
Falling to the sea
I just want to run, run anywhere
Away from here,
I’d give it all away, Wake up to a pleasant day,
And then I’m in peace.

Why me today,
why should it be this way, in the music?
My time will come one day.
And is it my fault, being at this place?
Seconds of fun, to years of agony

We’re all behind on everyone,
The night and day, and oh we run,
It makes for nothing till we become One Name

I just want to run, run anywhere
Away from here,
Don’t want to lose it all, taking it and
Falling to the sea
I just want to run, run anywhere
Away from here,
I’d give it all away, Wake up to a pleasant day,
And then I’m in peace.

“Why Judge”

“WE’RE ONLY ONE OF 7 BILLION”

And we think we can “judge”. There’s no right or wrong, never was, but who are we to make someone’s life a misery?

I walk down the streets of town, in my curly blonde fringe and long coat, and the least I expect is a sigh with rolled eyes, or someone nudging their friend to grab their attention to look at “That Odd Looking Guy” “ME”.
If it’s not on the streets, it’s on social media where it gets even more bizarre because people hide behind that profile picture saying things like “You deserve a bullet between your eyes” or “How can you call yourself a “MAN” with them tight jeans” Bizarre right?

But I brush it off, I’ve learnt to brush off everything that pulls me down because I remind myself that someone “STOPPED” me on the pavements of London before just to compliment me on my sense of fashion, my vision, my perspective of A.R.T. Or them comments or messages on my instagram and YouTube that said “I inspired someone through a song of mine, or by dressing that way in my video, or made them feel okay with “Don’t Blame Me” or “Million Pieces”.

And that’s what I concentrate on, the openness of mind and freedom within many in this generation, the kids who walk past you and smile, the ones who understand why you are who you are, dressed like you are, smiling, laughing or crying like you are. The ones who use social media to promote love, not destroy someone behind a fake account.

You see, we are the new generation, WE KNOW WE ARE NOT TO JUDGE ANYONE, we are the freedom, the no limit to how extendable our visions can be, we are the love, and even though we will always come across some who are still stuck in That time of ignorance, keeping our love and faith in what we are building is our answer and victory.
I wrote it with love, spread that love, stay awesome.
